chickencam
Ziggy disappeared last night and didn't come home until after midnight, then we found half a mouse on the study floor this morning, which we thing must be the one that she lost last week. It must have been living in the study since then, because it had only been recently killed She must have spent the night chasing it round the study, the waste paper bin was upturned and she has been soundly asleep for most of the morning so far, whereas she is normally over the hills and far away by now. franklyrabbit
What a cutie she is. Poor mouse, although he probably enjoyed his little stay in your house!

Seagazer
She is obviously exhausted, very busy night. Dave is very good at catching mice, he comes in and calls hello from the kitchen in a certain way and I just know he's got a mouse in his mouth, which he then usually drops as he's too busy chatting! I've told him I don't need any more mouse presents, I love him enough anyway.....
chickencam
Ziggy doesn't shout about her mice, but does like to play with them by letting them go in the house Scamp mainly catches butterflies, and pens which she shouts about as though she has caught the biggest mouse in the world
Seagazer
They do make you laugh don't they? Mind you I really, really don't like mice and it must look really comical as I try to help catch the blooming things. Cookie luckily lets me know where they are (if the cats aren't standing guard). Its usually me and YS who try to catch them (me with rubber gloves and a fishing net) I don't like the cats to get them if they've dropped them alive. I like to at least give them a chance outside. chickencam
I had to catch a small one in the kitchen a few weeks back and my husband was virtually standing on a stool wimpering, he is the same with spiders Having said that he has a lovely nature which has many plus sides
Seagazer
My hubby always seems to be out when I need him for mouse catching duties! Mind you I have to catch the spiders as he doesn't like them. He catches the moths/butterflies for me too.
docsquid
Ours have developed the advanced technique of sleeping like that, without going to all the effort of chasing a mouse first Lovely kitty!
