BenHelen
Hello, We are new to the site, would have liked to have started on a nicer foot. One of our girls has a blocked nose, looks like it is full of wax. What could be wrong and how do we go about unblocking it??? Many thanks all
Plum
Hello welcome, that is nothing to most posts It may be some food that has become lodged in her nostril or some snot(sorry can't think of another word ) I would just wipe it with some warm water and ease it out. She won't think much of it so I would wrap her in a towel. At the same time put your ear to her back and just check she's not rattly and then keep an eye on whether it recurs. staceychristie
Our vet used a cocktail stick like tool to clear her nostrils. She had started to breathe through her beak. I'd try warm water on some cotton wool. ( Careful though, she may try and EAT the cotton wool!!) Stacey
