jellykelly
Barack'o brahma has been sitting on 6 eggs since monday. She's doing a fab job. The eggs are nice and toasty and I'm getting her off of the nest twce a day for her little breaks. I have just one little problem........ Time is going so slowly!!!! Patience has never been one of my virtues. When I want something,I want it yesterday! I'm going to be stupidly silly when we get closer to the hatching date. Please tell me that I'm not the only one that gets so excited over potential babies?

Griffin
It never gets boring. How can anyone not get excited when something so perfect hatches from a tiny egg? It's a miracle! I could literally burst with pride over my broody girls who show such dedication to the job and I take a huge amount of pleasure in seeing how much they enjoy motherhood. I agree though that time goes soooooo slowly, the last few days are particularly anxious times!
meezers
I wondered how on earth I carried 2 babies for 9 months, while I was waiting for Muppet to hatch her eggs- those three weeks seemed like an eternity
jellykelly
Lol - I've had 4 babies and I'm pretty sure I wasn't as impatient as I am now.

jellykelly
1 week to to. Why isn't the time going faster?? I'm still very excited. I think I'll be camping outside next to the coop at the weekend, I'm that keen to see babies!! I ran into the lady that gave me the hatching eggs at the weekend. If the eggs fail she's kindly offered me some sablepoot eggs - I don't think that I could take another 3 week wait though. This hatching/waiting lark is unbearable.
