Omlet cube and run

I had a piece of this stuff (think is it called plastic carpet protector) kicking around my garage. I cut it to size and lined the trays with it (bobbly side down). It made cleaning out so easy this morning as I knocked the poo off into the compost as usual, popped the plastic liners into a bucket of soapy water, washed them off with a sponge and they dried in a few mins hung over the cube. Bob's your uncle

Excellent idea CM I use similar stuff in the bottom of my incubators as its so easy to clean

Thick plastic works well too.

 

Now I just need some dry weather as I'm not cleaning the houses in this rain.

I did the same with the excess plastic backing of the picnic rug which I cover the eglu with in the winter . I agree, it works brilliantly .
