Unsecure chicken perches

Hi Eveyone

I am the proud owner of 3 lovely young girls, my Coral Nick has been laying for nearly 2 weeks and would give us a lovely cream egg everyday. Now one of the Mendlesham rangers has joined in and we had our 1st speckled brown egg yesterday, but the Coral didnt lay.The same thing has happended this morning.Is this common and will she start laying again? Any advise would be welcome.

Nothing to worry about. It is all a bit hit and miss in the early days.

Took mine about 3 weeks before they settled into a routine.

Thanks for your advice, they are allnowlaying and we are getting 3 lovely eggs a day
