fluffyfeet
I know it's probably not a big deal to a lot of folks - but we haven't been abroad since before we moved into our own house, which was in 1996, apart from me going on a hen weekend to Amsterdam but it wasn't hot and sunny with a beach so I don't count that I've ummed and arrred over whether we should go or spend the money on the house which needs quite a bit doing to it - for the last 3 months, and then had the blinding revelation that the house will still be here when we get back and nothing is 'that' desperate it can't wait. So, we're off to Lanzarote in September - I've been there twice before and the climate really suits (I'm quite fair skinned) and my folks have also got timeshare out there - and they will be there at the same time. It will also be the first time DS has been abroad, or on a plane, and we can't wait to see his face when we take off. It will also be OH's birthday whilst we are there so extra special again. Having been quite depressed of late it feels so nice to have something to really focus on, and even at 45, I am sooooo looking forward to being on holiday with my parents - mind you, they are as daft as I am so look out Lanzarote. Sorry for rambling on - had to tell someone Dawn x
BeckyBoo
How exciting!! I haven't been abroad for a couple of years and I don't like flying much, but I still LOVE the idea of a holiday somewhere warm and sunny. Hope you all have a lovely time, what a fab thing to look forward to! (bet you start packing long before you should!! ) BeckyBoo
