foreveryoung Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 sorry I havent been on for a couple of days, my minded (or my own) children (I really dont know which one did) broke my laptop , all be it by acident. anyway I thought Id share a funny thing my girlies did (well i thought it was funny, maybe I need to get out more.) it was throwing it down friday morning and I couldnt see them from the house which I normally can. anyway I grab my bolly and walk down the garden to check on them, to my surprise I find all 8 huddled under the cube hiding from the rain, nevermind they have a huge covered area they have - silly birds. http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b202/edines33/?action=view¤t=compleatchockrun.flv (pic of the run the have, just to show the sheltered area they have lol) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jennydavies Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 I think ours are all "pollo loco" they stay out in it even when it's bucketing down I put my waterproofs on the other day when it stormed (all the hot weather build-up) and physically shut the three of them in the WIR to dry. What did surprise me was the speed that they dried we have aubiose on the floor in the WIR - if they lay on it does it draw the water out of the girls feathers ??? one hour later they were bone dry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
