bigmommasally
How lovely. Out of interest (nosiness ) I just googled them - at the price of new ones!!! But I see there are a few on preloved so hopefully you will be able to get a bargain.
welovemarmite
i am getting a preloved one which should be on its way in the next day or so. I got a very good make and model for the same price as a very basic new model, and saving myself about £150 so very happy...

Ana's flock
Down the slippery slope you are... Why do you think I have not been on this forum for ages? What spinning wheel did you get? I've got an Ashford Traveller and a Country... have been pestering DH for a Majacraft Rose and my birthday is towards the end of this month... I suppose you are aware they are, like chickens, herding creatures, so one could be feeling lonely at times... How are you getting on? Have you spun any fleece 'on the grease' yet? I love doing that if the fleece is clean and the locks loose and open. Anyway - welcome to the addictive word of spinning - I'm also a newbie, having started spinning only last May. Enjoy! Blackrocksrock
I was at an arts and crafts show locally today and a friend I made from work was there and I watched her spinning fleece and it looked so easy or rather she made it look so easy - I think 3 of us are going to go to her for a workshop - her dying of the wool was fabulous and she also spins silk with her wool and its so light and soft and gorgeous - I want one of the silk scarves for my xmas its so nice. Forestchook
Hi, Managed to pick up a spinning wheel in a charity shop yesterday. Not entirly sure of my logic behind getting it but there you go. All I need to do now is learn how use it. Any tips, or suggestions on the best way to learn. Or can anyone recommend a book? Oh, and how is it best to source fleece? thanks N
