Hi

What kind of wire would you use for your WIR - there seems to be options of chicken wire of galvanised mesh - not sure what the difference is?

 

Whats best - I see on here a lot of people use 1 x 1/2 inch 19 gauge - is that right/

weld mesh is best as it stronger than chicken wire. I used 1x1x 1.6mm dia from Hills of Devon

just checked 1.6mm is 16 gauge the smaller the gauge number the thicker the wire. ie 19 gauge is only 1mm wire

I have 16g weldmesh. It looks strong enough to keep predetors out but lots have 19g mesh.

I have 19gauge 1 x 1/2 weld mesh

 

16 is stronger than 19
