Snoxy
WOW...the number of chicken keepers around me is growing Edited July 10, 2010 by Guest
Falkor
I got my hens from Thornes too - I've got some stuff from bedfordshire growers in upper caldecote but they don't seem to sell auboise which I've heard is the thing to have for bedding - any idea where you can get this in north herts/ beds? Travel a little bit further north on the A1 (one roundabout plus a bit, if you hit the Black Cat you have gone too far) and call into the Frontier Country and Pet Store - they sell Aubiose, A&P and some other basic chook bits. Technically I am Cambs but am just by the A428/A1 turn so almost Beds!

JamesAyres
Did anyone go to the Bedfordshire Show today? I did, and i thought for the price it cost to get in , it was pretty rubbish..... Been to far far better county shows. Perhaps beds is a boring county after all....

chickenopolis
I'm near Buckingham - is there anywhere near MK (ish) that anyone would recommend for getting more girls. I have been to Cotswold Chickens near Banbury and had to be dragged away from there kicking and screaming (but not before buying up half the shop..), but is there anywhere near MK? pips_pekins
Hello. Are there any omleteers in Leighton Buzzard or Linslade? It would be great to find that I am not the only one!
Guest
I'm waving from Norfolk - but I used to live in Dunstable right near Dunstable Downs. I have one son still lives there and another in Leighton Buzzard. Neither of them have chickens - yet! They take the easy option, admire mine and go home with lots of eggs
