All mouldy and green Oh Well, Im hopefully going to pick up some week old chicks on monday but dont know what breed yet ... So checked on the poultry allotment pages and found a breeder in my area, who sold me a further three day old polish chicks. since then I have had 5 more hatch from another batch - two blue silkie bantams, one partridge silkie bantam, and another two polish. the polish were a pot luck colours batch and it looks like they're going to be gold, which is my least favourite in the cockerel but one fave in the pullet.... it's all fingers crossed time now! buying another three silkies today too and my flock is then fully complete. good luck to all with hatches soon!
