Guest Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Welcome alihodg and lizinsa It'll be nice to have some more competition in the prediction league - cos, to be honest, winning it last season was just a bit too easy! here's how it works.. I post the fixtures - usually only the weekend ones - on Thursday (or more often Friday!) and you all predict away - on this thread.. you get three points for predicting a correct score you get one point for correctly predicting a draw/win/loss then I do lots of complicated mathematical stuff, and produce an updated table!! I will include Blunderland and Neverton if you feel you can keep up the predicting through the season! occasionally there are bonus points - and occasionally we get someone's pet goldfish to join in for a few weeks so that Martin is not always bottom!!! if you are top of the league for a particular week - then you are Prediction Princess for that week.. if you win the league - as I did last season - then everyone has to agree with your footballing views for the next season!! (Shush, don't tell anyone but its done by my far brainier missus - have you seen her on the quiz? She does the maths cos i have to take my socks off to count past 10 - being a Bolton fan i don't often have to count their goals past 1 you see...) I think I'll stick to being Lorna No-team, I would feel like a fake pretending to support a football team - plus that would mean I would have to pretend to get upset when they do badly.....or even learn a few names of the players Don't want to overload the Princess either!
