docsquid
My first three girls arrived in October last year, and initially it was agreed we'd get three more once these had settled in. But DH didn't like all the mud and digging and so he wouldn't let me get any more chickens. He was also sceptical about a WIR. But....since dividing the garden with Omlet netting so they don't dig so much, and persuading him a WIR would be easier to keep clean and easier for me to dig out the hemcore, I'm getting a WIR on 22nd July AND!!!! hopefully 3 more chooks (bantams this time) in August!!!! Ooh, how exciting. At last my plans are coming together. The final obstacle was removed this afternoon when I contacted the last of our neighbours (who was on holiday last week) and was told they didn't object to chickens at all I feel like dancing! Plum
Great news. I am really pleased for you, I know how much you wanted more. Have you thought what bantams you would like?
ISCA
I love it when a plan comes together. What batams will you get?
docsquid
Probably a Pekin or two, and maybe a silkie or wyandotte. They need to stand up for themselves with the big girls, so will need to be feisty!

patsylabrador
Very well done with the man management too. I expect you knew you would eventually get things how you wanted them. Patience is definitely the key. Have fun.
