Chook n Boo Mum
Congratulations ............. gosh they look so diddy, I'm sure they look smaller than my monsters, though they never stand still enough to do a proper comparison near the door, they are on the go all the time ...and given that my 4 week old Pekin was found sitting on the rim of a box at least 20 in deep this evening, I don't think they'd have any problem with the step into the eglu Sha x
midori
They are gorgeous, Wyandottes are such beautiful birds, qand the Pekin is cuter than cute! We have just got an Aruacana Bantam and she is currently living with a Cream Legbar as I got them from the same place. Last night they free ranged with the LF flock for an hour or so, which went well, and then all slept together. I have seperated the bantam and CL into their own run for today, but then free range them all together later again. I do worry, I have to admit, as the bantam seems tiny and fragile compared to the LF, hence taking it slowly.
scarlettohara
You're right about not keeping still - it's exhausting to watch, the dotte follows the pekin everywhere and does whatever she does. I kept waking up last night worrying a fox was digging under the eglu I'm going to put wire underneath it today though.
