One of our girls has laid three huge eggs ( all over 100g) in the last week. Can this cause her to prolapse ? At first I was excited to get such bug eggs , but I'm a but worried that it cause some damage?

Shouldn't be a problem, there are quite a few eggs over 100g laid - just take a look at the Omlet Large Egg Leader Board . I can put yours on if you know the weights .

Should be fine unless she is showing signs of illness\ ect..

I would keep a close eye. When Rose my White star laid a 93g egg she had bleeding for a few days when she laid. So worth keeping an eye as others may try to peck her. However some girls have laid whoppers with no issues

If she is over 2 years old, it might be a sign that she is nearing the end of her productive life.

 

I have noticed this several times. They seem to lay huge eggs for a while, and then nothing.

The biggest was 111g and we had one that was 103g and then 101g. I think it's one of my bluebells that's laying them, but can't be too sure as I have 12 girls and tbh all the eggs look the same apart from the sweeties. I will keep an eye on them in case they look like they are suffering.
