What is the easiest way to introduce new chickens to an existing flock?

Try this, great fun, whether you've got kids or not. The water in the bucket gets very, very cold. My hands were tingling after only a few seconds.

haha I was going to say the very thing! But that is an excellent idea and one we will be doing in the hols.

 

I take it, it is safe to drink the super cooled water and that it only freezes when banged or poured over ice? I can just see one of mine drinking it and freezing their insides

That would be funny if you drank it and choked on the ice. But I assume that because your body temperature is high enough to melt ice it wouldn't work? IDK.
