Think I might have a poorly girl?!

Recommended Posts

GNR just doesn't seem interested in any treats or her normal food today :o( PP on the other hand is a gobble guts! I'm a bit concerned about GNR as she will normally run to me when I shake the little treat bowl, but not today! I've even hidden the treats in amongst the leaves and bark etc so they have to work and fossik for them, but she's just not interested :o(

She laid her googy this morning for me, and has then spent the rest of the day in the shade sleeping... is it the weather (they were drenched yesterday and now today it's really windy and sunny - nothing like extremes!)

Should I be worried, or just accept that she might be having an off day?!

Help?!?

She does sound off it. I would give her a general health check follow this link

thanks Plum, I've had a look through this and had a little looky at Ginger - she seems to have a scaby nose, but that's about it... I've let them out to FR further afield (so to speak), and she seems to be a little happier :o)

I'm going to keep an eye on her and see what happens this evening and then in the morning, if she's still poorly in the morning I'll take her to the vet

fossik, googy? 1.gif

Yeah I'm an Aussie (with bad spelling)

Fossick = to rummage or search around

Googy = bumnut (another Aussie term) or egg

Ginger seems a little more with it this morning, she's wandering and pecking about which is nice to see. I did just try her with some corn, but she wasn't interested (Babs however came running out of the nest and gobbled the few up and ran back to the nest - mightly amusing!)

She's drunk quite a bit of water, not a lot of her food, but she's fossicking which is good to see (an improvement on yesterday that's for sure!)

Yeah she doesnt seem quite right, if she doesnt pick up maybe try a garlic clove in the glug, a bit of garlic powder in there food or ACV, if you have any to hand, hope she seems better in the morning xxx

I'm sorry but I'm not too sure what ACV is? Do I crush the garlic clove or sjut drop it straight in?

thanks :o)
