Janina Butterworth
My girls seem to have stopped eating their pellets. They eat everything else but I haven't seen them go near their grub container in days. We think that there are bugs aplenty in their woodchip in the run hence no pellet eating. They don't get treats until the afternoon and a little free ranging. Do you think that they don't like them, they won't go hungry will they? They seem completely fine in themselves but I'm getting a little concerned.
Egluntyne
Are they laying?
Jools
I'd cut out all treats (not the free ranging though) and leave them with just their pellets. They won't starve themselves.
Janina Butterworth
Ariadne is laying she started a week ago, Petunia hasn't started yet, still wondering when that is going to happen. We're maybe going to have to be cruel to be kind and cut out treats not that we feed them too many of them. They get an odd handful of corn a bit of lettuce and sometimes mealworms as a special treat. We never give them treats in the morning. Lewis
I'd cut out the treats for a bit .... the heat might make them eat a bit less too
kitschwitch
Our original 4 hybrids stopped eating pellets too, after they had been here about a week, luckily we had only a small bag and changed them straight to Mash which they love. One was in lay at the time and the rest came in within about 3 weeks. Hope that helps
