mummy cluck Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) We had a persistant broody and we tried everything to break her from it but to no avail . So a very kind friend who has a rooster gave me 6 eggsto sit her on . She seemed so much happier just to be left to sit on the eggs. Anyway we kept checking from day 19 but day 21 i checked the eggs and 1 was hatching . The rest were duds but we are really pleased just to get one . lovely little grey chick with a tiny yellow patch on its head. ...well cute. its now just over a week old and is doing really well.
