I've been watching it and I have been finding it really interesting. The bit I find most interesting is what their view of our culture and general way of life is! We must seem so strange to them! I would love to go and experience their culture.

I wouldn't like to live it but it looks like a great life to have a retreat to, no phones, computers, tvs , not sure what books they are allowed i'd find that hard, but would love the peace and what a great life for small children

I've been watching it..it's absolutely fascinating. They're so sheltered, yet they're allowed this 'run-around' time before they decide whether they want to commit themselves fully to Amish life. Interesting how one of the lads has been on his 'run-around' for 6 years!

I'm interested in their attitude to modern teen clothing and possessions, and they appear to want neither. Love the barn raising!
