Lindy Loo
I have loads of plums in the freezer left over from last year. They are whole and uncooked as my mother in law kindly bunged them in the freezer for me when we were on holiday. I have, from time to time, made plum crumble with them which, apart from having to play "hunt the plum stones" was good. Does anyone have any other ideas on how I can use them? They are in really good condition but as they have been frozen for some time now I am keen to use them up.
Patricia W
Plum Chutney? Plum Vodka ( not sure about that one - may be too watery - but you could experiment) Plum jam? Tricia
kerryegg
I use frozen whole damsons for jam. Boil fruit until soft then put through a colunder ( sorry no spell check ) to remove stones befor adding sugar. It always works and I don't see why plums wouldn't be as good.
