amateurkeeper Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Thought I would share some photos of my 4 Orpies, seeing as I haven't done it yet!! We're 99.9% sure we have 2 Gold Laced Orps (brown chicks), 1 Blue Splash Orp & 1 Australorp (black and white chick). They were all fluff when we got them 2 weeks ago but now the Australorp has huge feathers and a rather large wingspan, has started sprouting tail feathers and has nearly escaped from the box already! The gold laced orpies have started flapping and trying to fly too, but have smaller wings and the blue splash orpie has only just started growing feathers, bless it (my favourite.... ) Blue Splash frequently falls asleep on me!! So cute All four cuddled up together this afternoon Posted so you can see the feathers on the gold laced...they've sprouted from nowhere overnight! Ahhh....
