CAMPYLOBACTER: Anyone else had it?

Hi all,

 

After wrestling one of our current chickens from the mouth of a fox yesterday, it's clear that free ranging isn't really an option in my garden now.

 

So, with this is mind - if I were to buy a cube with a standard run, how many bantams could be housed there if they didn't have any free ranging time? What are people's experience of bantams in a cube?

I've got three with the standard run. They free range occasionally but not a lot. So they have perches at various levels and lots of aubiose to dig in. Even so, I've had a problem with one pecking the other two.

With a standard run, Omlet say 4-6 hybrid hens, I'd say 4 at most.

 

With bantams they're smaller so can fit more in the cube, but they still need somewhere of a similar space to run around.

So I'd say 4 to 6 bantams then
