Dizzy-Deb
I think a lot of us are being affected by the economic climate, and have had to make cuts or give something up to make ends meet... for me I miss the most... my CAR!! Had one since I was 20 and now twice that plus a bit more . We have always had the two cars... but as hubbys was falling apart and getting so expensive to repair, mine had to be sacrificed to make way for us having the one car and newer. It was hard for me to let mine go as it was purchased with some money that was left to me when my boss of 28 years passed away, and bought the car to kind of remember him by. He loved his cars so he would have approved of it. I know we made the right decisions for financial reasons to come down to the one newish car...but boy of boy has it clipped my wings. I hardly ever get to drive now, and so lost that independance had just to nip of here and there. For example I fancy popping to go see some chickens at place near me tomorrow but have to wait for hubby to get back with 'our' car before can.!! Its so difficult now. What are you missing most ?? mostin
Expensive moisturisers I love the dermalogica range, and used to get all my skin care routine from it, but now as each tube runs out I am having to buy cheaper ones which I hate, and some give me spots . I can't wait to be back to normal again.
patsylabrador
All the lovely but expensive spices and bottled things you can buy in Waitrose.
meezers
Saving ! We've always had to stick to a tight budget, so I haven't had anything to give up in the first place. But, we have always been able to save a bit each month towards a holiday or something for the house etc, even if it's taken us a couple of years, it's nice to know we're getting there. But we haven't been able to save anything for 5 months now and my list of 'wants' is getting longer and more unattainable

I know its pathetic, but it was something I really enjoyed when we were both working, and really miss now.
ubereglu
Higher Interest rates...meaning all the money I do have isn't going up by inflation and is in effect becoming devalued, (it's my life savings and I'm 17...brilliant...not). BeckyBoo
It's the one thing about being flat broke all the time - nothing to give up!! if I ever have money, it'd be nice to be able to say - yes you CAN have an ice cream - when the van comes round, or yes, I WILL buy myself some more incense without having to delete something off the monthly shopping list to cater for it BeckyBoo
