Me again. Where can I buy a metal feed bin that will hold the feed and corn and can be kept outside? The ones I have found appear far to large.

I found a galvanised bin with a lid from my local independent hardware shop - it's a bit like a small plastic dustbin. It holds a big bag of grain or pellets. The lid just sits on top, so may not be suitable for outside use unless it is tethered in some way. It cost around £16. I think I saw something similar in IKEA too.

I have a few of the cream metal IKEA ones, they hold a bag of feed with a little room to spare so are smaller than the chunky standard bins, they look nicer too

 

IKEA say they arent suitable for outdoor use but mine look ok after about a year outside

Scats country stores and the like. about £15 I have one outside and I use a bungy to keep the lid on and rats out.
