One of my ex batts seems very down, her little tall is down and she is sitting on her own, I have had this with all of them and they do eventually perk up but not sure if it is just her time as they are all about 3 now and have worked very hard, I gave her a wee bath to see if it perked her up but will have to wait and see. I have not lost any yet and I am dreading that day. Just on to share with like minded folk really.

Have you done the usual checks for diseases. Hope she picks up it's horrid when you can't tell what is wrong.

Funny enough I started worming on Sunday, I worm them every 3 months, she is standing alone, but if I turn up with a treat she runs over but she is not as enthusiastic as the others. Just been out again she does look a wee bitty better but if not better by tomorrow I will call thever.

Sorry she's poorly. Just lost one of my originals All you can do is keep her warm and dry. I guess as long as she's eating and drinking, she'll get better. Have you a good vet? Don't forget, chickens are VERY good at hiding illness.

Has she laid recently? Could she have a softie on the way? The other thing that I would check is whether her abdomen feels either hard or fluid filled.

they are so crafty, she seems much perkier today but I am mindful of the fact they can hide things, will keep an eye on her and if she looks like she is going back downhill I will take her straight to vet
