Omlet cube and run

Hello has anyone experinced any reluctance on the hen's part to use the feeder that comes with the go?

My two would not touch food with the lid on so I removed it until they began jumping on the edge and contaminating the feed by kicking mucky feet all over it.

I have put the lid back on and they will not put their head's in to feed.

Any help gratefully received.

I agree, the Go grubs are really deep and a strange angle to fit the run.

 

I'd just make sure its really full, and hang it lower on the run so that they can see there is food in there.

I agree with Iwescott. Fill it right up and once one starts using it, the others will. Just persevere for a while.

We don't have a go, but we always have to teach our newbies to eat from the feeders - they just aren't used to it. We scoop some food out on our hands, feed them, then throw or place it in the container. They get used to it.
