Can anyone identify this lump?

 

Its only come up this week - was only noticed yesterday.

It looks like Bumblefoot to me. I would suggest that she is seen by a vet, as antibiotics may be required.

I agree would definitely say bumblefoot. It is caused by a Staphyloccal infection following a puncture wound of some kind. This will need antibiotic treatment as it is difficult to cure without veterinary attention and often requires a long course of antibiotics.

I had an inkling it could be bumblefoot - have given it a clean and sprayed will talk to vet tomorrow.

 

May have to find something to use as a sick pen as I have the broody in my spareone! (hopefully hatching will start tomorrow)

looks just like one of my girls that the 2 dif vets have said is NOT bumble foot

like exactly like?????

they say it is a corn????

it's really hared to get rid of isn't it?

Mine has no pus in it, that is why they say not????

any advice on home treatments, just incase?

YOu could have a go at 'drawing' it with a warm animalintex poultice. Might do the trick if there is anything in there to come out. Pointless if there isn't though.
