the bradley bunch
hi guys, my little brother has just started his first proper job after graduating from uni and i'd really like to get him a great gift to congratulate him. i've thought long & hard about it and i've decided i'd like to get him a watch, as he doesn't currently have one & think it's a great thing to have in a new job for time-keeping and it will give him that all important professional touch! i need help/ideas on what watch to get him as there are so many out there! his job is media related so the nature of the job is fairly casual, although he's working with the bbc which is a big company & he's doing a lot of shadowing of important people there (bless him i'm so proud ) so he still needs to maintain a professional image without going to over the top. he wears suit trousers and an opened collared shirt with a thin jumper over the top, so i want a watch that will just blend in nicely with his look but will also be noticed in a positive way. my gosh who thought so much info could go into a post asking for watch ideas! i just want it to be perfect for him so that he knows how proud i am of him however the difficulty is i only have a budget of around £20 all help will be greatly appreciated! thanks! Cinnamon
To be honest, you are not going to get much of a watch for £20. How about a nice pen instead? He would use that for work, I am sure This one is a bit over budget, but looks lovely http://www.johnlewis.com/230953915/Product.aspx This one is £20 exactly http://www.johnlewis.com/230953934/Product.aspx The nicest watch I found was this one for £32 http://www.johnlewis.com/95418/Style.aspx
BeckyBoo
Try TK Maxx, they're not necessarily super quality because for £20 you won't get an everlasting one, but they have some really unusual and stylish ones easily within that budget, I got a lovely one from my Dad for Christmas a couple of years ago and it was only about £12 Good luck to your brother, sounds like a fab job BeckyBoo

Redwing
I'm with Cinnamon, a pen is a great gift and a nice one can be bought for £20 Of the two watches that you posted the first is definitely the better one and more suited to a professional environment
