magamamma Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 i have three pekin bantams one partridge coloured and two blondes. when i got them feathers (partridge coloured) was the top hen but ever since my blondes have gotten broody this has changed and the blondes have become aggresive. they are so adamant to sit on that nest from dawn till dusk that my feathers cannot lay. They have all stopped laying and my husband is threatening roast dinners on them! I loved keeping chickens but its just so irritating that they have all decided to stay in the eglu all day.
