Dizzy-Deb
Hi I know can get cardboard type ones from Omlet but was looking ideally for some re-usable type ones. Has anyone come across these and if yes, where from ? thanks xx

Dizzy-Deb
Hi Lewis how are you ? hope your ok, seems ages since spoke to you at CLA. I have come a long way since then, have got an eglu and my cube is ordered and due to arrive 22nd this month. Its ALL your fault (only kidding ). I am after some plastic type egg boxes that hold just 4. (I have seen something on ebay, but they are in Japan ) rather than the usual cardboard types. Just wanted re-usable so when have given a few eggs to relatives the egg box can then be sent back for re-using. Hope that makes sense. xxx
LuckyChickenLover-
Do you mean ceramic ones? I bought some ceramic ones but I wouldn't recommend them tbh - the base wasn't glazed so it s"Ooops, word censored!"ed the shelves in the fridge. We tried to solve the problem by paining the base with clear nail varnish. The result? Food that tasted like nail narnish for a week! Geoid
Why not buy from Hong Kong, pay by paypal incase anything goes wrong.
Lewis
Hi Lewishow are you ? hope your ok, seems ages since spoke to you at CLA. I have come a long way since then, have got an eglu and my cube is ordered and due to arrive 22nd this month. Its ALL your fault (only kidding ). I'm fine thanks, are you? I know, seems ages ago! I saw the eglu photos I'll happily take the blame for that one We just re-use cardboard boxes (if we ever have enough eggs to give away ) ... if you print off a few stickers and put them on the boxes they normally get back to you. Wow! Never seen them before... How are they!?! - bit expensive £3.02 each inc p&p
Bramble
i wonder if it might be worth checking out a camping supplies shop, they tend to have "stuff" like that sometimes? Keep us posted!
Dizzy-Deb
Hi still havent found any of the type want. I have to agree that a bit expensive to get from overseas. I will just keep looking and maybe one day a 4 egg box will become available from UK stockist. I quite like the idea of buying some of the normal card boxes, and creating a sticker for the front. Could take a pic of my chookies... and call them Hale's Happy Hens (my surname is Hale ).
Smudge
Hi Just been on to Ebay to have a look and I remember my gran having some plastic egg boxes like this years and years ago, but no idea where they came from. They do look like the sort of thing Lakeland might have, but I just did a search on Google and it came up with this... http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/royal-egg-set-6-holed-camping-storage-solution-p133055 It's for 6 eggs, not 4 egg but at only £1.35 a bit cheaper than the Hong Kong ones. Hope that helps.
