kerryegg
I love soft boiled eggs but hate trying to remove the shell from the top ready for eating. Cutting off with a knife never seems to work for me, so I am thinking of spending a silly amount of money, well £15.99 on a Clack. Has anyone got one? Looks great but I would prefer an Omlet recommendation. None on e-bay unfortunately. Thanks for any thoughts.
chickencam
It looks like it would work, I too hate tring to get into boiled eggs. I use the knife method, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. When I was a child we always tapped the top of our eggs with a teaspoon then picked the bits off, not ideal either. I have a boiled egg most days for my lunch and I bought a contraption with teeth that you put round the top of the egg and squeezed, that didn't work. kerryegg
Thanks for replies. I have ordered the Clack and will let you know how I get on. Nearly £20 with postage, so hope it works.

The Dogmother
One of these? They are useless on small bantam eggs though
chickencam
That's the thing, maybe I'll give it another go.
kerryegg
The Clack arrived and guess what, it works. Tested it on a hardboiled egg, salad for tea, can't wait for my soft boiled for breakfast tomorrow. Expensive but worth it.
