Adams Egg
We got three POL who are now 20 weeks, the white ranger has been laying regularly for 2 weeks but the eggs are around 45g, I thought they would be larger by now. A blue egg today from on of the sklines is a little larger. They were all barn reared and have been outside now for 4 weeks. Would it be wise to give them a course of Flubenvet now or wait until all are laying. Typically my large pot of 2.4% has just gone out of date, should I get a fresh batch of the 1% pack. Thanks in advance.
Egluntyne
You could worm them now if you wish. No need to wait till they come into lay. If they have been free ranging, they may have picked them up already.
Christian
It is tricky will medicine, but as it is a powder, I would use it personally. 45g isnt a bad weight for a new hen. They will get larger as she gets int the swing of things. Give her a chance! Imagine popping out a huge egg for the first time!
