Hi there

I am eagerly awaiting my chicken for beginners course next weekend, after which I am sure I'll be wanting to place an order for an Eglu. But which one - the Go or the Classic? Can I have opinions please, particularly from those of you who have had both? I am a total newbie at this. The one advantage I can see to the Go is the opening of the run in that you can choose either the end or the side for the door but I imagine there are other pros and cons.

I currently have 2 Holiday hens that live in a Go. I used my Go in a totally enclosed run, so this never crossed my mind.

The owner said she can see how the Go back can be out on and slightly miss the locating holes, leaving the whole rear vulnerable.

i also like to say good night to mine through the eggport and funnily enough collect the eggs, & poo pick!!!

I've only had my go for a few months now and love it. Having looked carefully(due to huge cost) i feel it's the best, mainly due to the fact the whole back door comes off. Great for cleaning,peeking,stroking and popping in mite powder. The classic only has a peep hole(which i know is big)but not as much room. Love it Love it Love it

I have a dodgy back and find the lack of pop hole on the Go a real handicap; in order to see inside, I have to bend over double or get down on my knees to look in through the back door... I'm only 5'1" so not that tall either.
