Janepie33
DS went back to his new home for 2nd year of degree on Friday. DD left yesterday for her 1st year. OH went to Wales this am to return on Friday - a pattern that is set to continue for a few months yet. That leaves me with 3 cats, 5 chickens, a selection of Koi in the front garden (in a pond,I hasten to add!). It's nice to have the option to eat what and when I want. To turn the TV off and just read, but I do miss those big noisey people and their friends wandering in an out with all their energy and chat and bikes and demand for food......... On the plus side, I have lovely friends and neighbours and a job I love and as soon as I get around to sorting it out, I will have a tidy house for the first time in years, which will stay tidy, even when I am at work! Ain't Nobody Here
Aww . Enjoy the peace - it won't be long before they're all back .
chickencam
It must feel very strange, but you can enjoy the positive side and you will really appreciate their company when they are home and probably the peace each time they go back.
