Chicken boarders

Hi everyone

 

Newbie forum user here. Will be getting my chicks at the end of October and I'm thinking of buying them from Mother Hens Poultry in Reading. Has anyone else used them and if so, can you recommend them or are there any other poultry suppliers in the Berks, Bucks or Surrey areas you think are worth using

No experience but their website looks good and the birds in the pictures look healthy. Just purchased 3more chooks off the omlet sale board. Wish I'd waited now.

Hello I have bought 5 hens from Golden Valley Poultry in Surrey as have others on here and would recommend them. They have a good website as well

I've bought hybrids, chicks & hatching eggs from Mother Hens previously. No complaints whatsoever, they're really lovely people, very helpful

Thanks for all your replies, its always good to hear other peoples views. Must admit the website does look good. Although the Golden Valley homepage has me in fits everytime (make sure your sound is on!)

We used Mother Hen's for our two Light Sussex Bantams.

 

Very helpful an nice people who took time to answer all our questions and show us around.
