My girls appear very healthy and I have just started to use Verm-X. Will this prevent worms or do I need to do more?

Ideally if you are using Verm-x you would be advised to do intermittent worm egg counts to check that your chickens are worm free. No visible worms does no mean no worms. Evidence is usually microscopic only becoming obvious when things have got out of hand. Or, you could use Flubenvet 3-4 times a year which is a wormer.

Thank you for that but how do you go about having a worm count?

You can either take some poo samples to your vet, or send them off to Retfords.
