Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

My WIR will soon be finished (just roofing to be done) and the cube is in place.

 

I currently have their eglu and its run sitting inside the WIR.

 

Do you think it would be a good idea to leave the door open on the cube, so that when they are moching around in the WIR, they can investigate and hopefully find their way inside the cube so start getting used to it.

 

Hope that makes sense.

 

If get some good weather the weekend, fingers crossed get get all the final finishing touches done.

Yes why not? Having said that I have my babies and their house in my WIR and I don't think they have been up to look at the cube yet. When the time for a move comes I'll have to post them in. Hope your girls are a bit more adventurous.
