quickcluck
DH's ED has been chicken sitting for us, and doing a not so bad job, but have come home and 4 chooks have NO tails nothing she can do about that, but I'm a bit distraught! We don't know who the culprits are as the main one we've discovered also has a bald side! I think i've no choice but to put bits on them all How long does it take to grow a tail feather back??? We are feeling bad....... Edited October 1, 2010 by Guest
Plum
About a month or so. Don't feel bad it could just be the moult but does sound like pecking. I'd give them a supplement in the water like Lifeguard to help them along and hang up some greens for them to peck and let them out when you are around. I'd try Ukadex or similar before bits You are going to have to post a picture of the little madams
