I'm wondering whether to buy some of this. I saw it on a site that says it can be used instead of antibiotics. Has anyone used it and is it any good? I don't want to spend £16 otherwise!

But I like FSF, I think they have a good name, and whenever I have shopped there I have found them straight and helpful. Furthermore they do go out of their way to recommend it, so ....

I use it in rotation with lifeguard and ACV. No idea whether it does any good but feel I am giving them a good chance. Started after one of my chickens had coccidiosis.

I've not tried it with my chooks but have heard nothing other than good reports about it

If I could buy only one supplement, this would be it without question.

 

I don't know about it being used in place of antibiotics, but I've used it to treat cocci in preference to coxoid or baycox and can say hand-on-heart that it works.

 

I was using the maintenance dose on my LF until recently, but I again I tend to only use it at times of stress or for a specific need. I've been using it with my chicks for the past two seasons instead of protexin (another pro/pre biotic). It's also great for sorting out dicky tums.
