I have lost count of the number of times I have typed a long reply with the two fingers available to me only to find that when I hit "reply" I am redirected to the log in page and my post is lost.

I know the answer is to copy the post before replying but I keep forgetting.

This didn't used to happen.

It's not happened to me yet, but if I've ever made a really long reply to someone I always try to remember to copy it before hitting submit.......because you just know that the one time you forget......it always gets lost into cyber space .
