Gertie
Hi All I have recently rehomed a kitten. She is now 4 months. I have taken her to the vet 3 times, once for a check over & twice for vaccinations (she was checked over then too), nothing was mentioned by the vet. Periodically she sneezes (everyday a few times). I only noticed this after the first part of the vaccinations. She has shown no signs of being i'll, bright eyes, no discharge, eating, drinking, bashing heck out if chrismas baubles etc!! Has anyone experienced this? Could it be an allergy?
The Dogmother
She may just be scouting for dust bunnies under the sofa and they are making her sneeze. You are keeping an eye on her anyway, so just carry on doing that and if you're still concerned in a couple of weeks' time, then mention it to your vet. One of my cats often sneezes - she has an allergy but is otherwise healthy.
Gertie
Thanks Clare. There are definitely dust bunnies as we are in the process of decorating an old house! I'm taking her to be neutered & chipped at the end of January so will ask vet then if she's still sneezing.
Wolfie
Could be a hair/whisker wedged in her nasal passages - ask the Vet to sloosh out? I have heard of a cat that had this problem. I think the sneezing was fairly constant though.
