sage
Sorry to butt in on a curd post but I have had a curd disaster and was hoping somebody could give a bit of advise. Just come to make tarts with it and the batch of lemon curd made in September has split and gone runny . The lemon curd and orange curd made last month has gone mouldy . I washed jars & lids in the dishwasher before I used them. Sage
stehaggan
mmm this sounds nice and with the success of my passion fruit curd i would like to try making it... what can you use it in? I didnt know what to use the passion fruit curd in so just used it with icecream and meringues.. how long does it last for? (before it goes off not before it gets eaten !! lol )
Lesley
I only keep curd for a few weeks so that could have been your problem Sage? I don't use curd 'in' anything.......I either eat it from the jar or have it with ice-cream
