Alis girls
I got some mealworms for the girls today and left them on the kitchen worktop whilst I unpacked shopping. ES 15 asked what they were and I said I was planning to cover in melted chocolate for Christmas Day. He and YS then berated me for bringing bugs into house. Lets face it I hate creepy crawlies and snakes and have only just plucked up courage to put my hand in bag and toss some to chucks. Kids of today - hah no stamina
Patricia W
I bought some " cranberry" flavoured ones at the pet shop the other day and asked the youngster behind the counter how he knew they were flavoured correctly. From his face, I think he thought I was going to ask him to try one! But seriously - how do you know?? Any volunteers? ( apart from the chooks who frankly don't care what flavour they are!) At the risk of asking another silly question.... If your girls don't care what flavour they are, why buy specially flavoured ones? Aren't the "original" ones cheaper? Patricia W
It is Christmas you know.... No,the real reason is they were on special offer so worked out as cheap as the others
majorbloodnock
Ah, that would explain it. Incidentally, there was no criticism intended in the question; just plain curiosity. I hope that's how it came across....
