How can I find my old pictures?

Hi,

 

Sadly I found one of my chickens dead this am. No reason I can think of.

She had had some funny poos, constant curry like poos,some with blood in.. I wonder if she had some illness or worm. I have seem pic of poo that look like hers and it suggests could be some type of parasite.

 

Any how do I need to do anything with my other chickens?? Could it spread to the other birds???

 

Any thoughts or help greatly received.

A few questions, how old was she, when were they last wormed and with what, had they been vaccinated.

Umm, only young, not yet laying, not yet wormed, due at vet next week.

Sad fact of life is that sometimes chickens die for no good reason.They seem to go downhill everso quickly so unless you're with them 24/7 it will go un-noticed.Best thing is to keep an eye on your remaining hens for any sign of illness.

sound very like a bacteria infection, brachyaspira is VERY common at the moment. sending a sample of poo off to Retfords will give you your answer, and piece of mind about £16

Could it have been coccidocisis (sp?). Don't think brachyspira causes blood in the poo or sudden death, typically. Agree sending sample off to Retfords is a good idea. They are cheap and efficient. So sorry about your girl. Hope the rest are OK.
