Donna C
Hi all, My oh emerged from the garden with a lovely 1st egg from our orpingtons. After so many ups/ downs what with loosing all our ex-batts, then loosing a baby orpington we now seem to be back on track . But now i'm wondering do i change them both to layers pellets or keep them on growers for a while, they are about 27weeks old. It's so great and magical to get eggs
Ain't Nobody Here
Congratulations . Lovely news after all your sad events . Mine were all given layers when I got them at 18 weeks .
Space Chick
Orps are slower to develop, so 27 weeks is still quite young. Maybe do a half growers/half layers mix for a while Exciting, first egg
