AJuff
I am so inspired!!! I keep thinking of things I would like to knit, sew and crochet so I've written a long list today. Now I just need to decide what to start (or finish first) and set up a 'Things I Have Made' photo gallery. There's always that making out of season debate in my head . . perhaps I should finish the unfinished Christmas crafts first then start the Easter things. . . . . Olly
this is just how I am! Aran jumper on the go, I started it before Christmas .... before Christmas 2009, that is! It takes quite a bit of concentration, and I haven't had much time lately. I am now keen to make an old-fashioned patchwork bedcover, as my mum taught me, and a friend has actually requested this - I'm collecting fabric and desperate to start, but the patchwork template is still in the post. And then I decided that what my kitchen really, really needs is a rag rug so I want to start one of these as well. I have nearly, nearly finished the knitted chicken I made also in 2009 - it requires about 30 minutes work to stitch up the last few bits, and then it will be going to a good home (probably the charity shop!) but can I find time? And then I really, really want to start crochet again - Attic 24 has inspired me, as has Egluntyne's ripple blanket. And the reality .... check back here in a year's time, bet you the Aran jumper still hasn't progressed and I'll have started one of the other projects and not finished it. Snowy
I've got a whole heap of UFOs (UnFinished Objects) desperate for my attention!
Plum
I seem to have run out of steam. I've got UFO's but don't feel like doing them. I don't know what to make next. Perhaps we need another crafty swap to get me going.
Olly
Maybe there should be a UFO swap! One person's 'lost interest' item might be another's ideal project.
Plum
Interesting idea and you never know if they aren't finished so guilt free getting rid of UFOs
AJuff
I did dig out the half finished Arran cardie yesterday and thought how nice it would be to finish! Why did I stop? However I have no intention of finishing the sheep teacosy I started two years ago. Perhaps we should post pictures of our UFO for any takers out there. I'd be dubious about a secret ufo swap as I might end up with another UFO!
