Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

Apparently this is a new product for Countrywide (just checked, it isn't on their website yet) I'm going to give it a go in my eglu run . It's £4.99 for 70l. Much co"Ooops, word censored!"r than sawdust but not as chunky (so probably won't be quite as good) as the b&q woodchip but that's really hard for me to get ... fingers crossed it works as I have a Countrywide very locally

I've been using this for a few weeks now as I can't get aubiose and it is ok, similar to easibed really but cheaper. I use it in the run and the house but still prefer aubiose as its more absorbent.

I use rapasorb in the eglu itself (I've NEVER been able to get any aubiose so can't really compare them, but am very happy with rapasorb), but that seemed a bit too light to go in the run. So far so good, it's had a good soaking over the weekend and still looks ok, think I'll put some extra bio dri on it as the weather is just horrid at the moment!

I have used a similar sounding product called Softbed http://www.equi-club.co.uk/contentpage.aspx?tabId=270

 

Its very cheap and is pretty good, very good for outside runs

The softbed stuff looks the same as I use but mine was expensive ( well I think it was! approx £15 for 120 litres), was newbie at the time and paid up!!

 

So could I ask how much the Softbed is as I can't see it on the website! (The price that is not the product!)

Last time I bought some it was about £5.50 a bale, that was Nov though

Even if more expensive now surely can't be as pricey as what I paid!
