Take part in study on PFAS 'forever chemicals' in eggs

I have 12 hens. 6 exbattery, 3 orpingtons, 1 Faverolles and 2 Merrydale Cresteds. They range in ages from 3 years down to about 8 months. In this last week I am getting 7-9 eggs a day!! Has spring come early? 2 weeks ago I was getting 2 if that. What has happened to the seasons. One of my Orpingtons is threatening to go broody as well

Mine are starting to lay again. I went from virtually no eggs (in the run up to Christmas) to about 6 eggs a day. No more egg drought!

Do your orpingtons and faverolle lay well? I have one of each and no eggs yet (still babies really at 20 weeks) so I'm really interested to know!

yeah some of mine have started laying again, i'm just waiting for my orp to go broody she's a little tinker for it and is so stubborn you have to drag her from the coop she acts like i'm attacking her i don't know what the neighbours think!
