poppers77
Poor Gwinnie. Following the snow we had quite a trauma with Flo suddenly ( we think) pecking out all of poor Gwinnies neck feathers. Either that or she had a strange kind of moult. You can see how spendid she looked before and how she looks now. We've applied a beak ring as per the Domestic Fowl Trusts instuctions on flo as Hyacynth's bottom is a bit bare too!! Honestly they've been the pciture of contentment up till now. They are all still laying sporadically. Poor Gwin she's allways the one in trouble ( chased by a cat and presumed dead, broody after 2 months of laying). All seems ok now the ring's on & I think Flo secretly like's her headware. L

Chortle Chook
Aw, poor girlie, I think she needs a little scarf, or maybe she read the posts people have put up recently in praise of Nakednecks.
